A 32 -year -old man, sentenced to five years and ten months in prison for sexual intercourse with a minor, escaped, on Tuesday night, from the interior work point of the Mărgineni Penitentiary, Dâmboviţa County. He is sought after by the penitentiary teams, by police, gendarmes and border guards.
“On Tuesday, 12.08.2025, around 18.00, it was found that the detainee Milosiu Ion, custom by the 32 -year -old Mărgineni Penitentiary, definitively sentenced to 5 years and 10 months in prison for committing the crime provided by art.220 NCP, sexual act with a minor, classified by the fence, Units while being in lucrative activities at the food block ”, announced the National Penitentiary Administration (ANP), quoted by News.ro.
To catch the man, specific measures were ordered: blocking the access routes on the possible directions of travel, the alarm of the personnel, the sending of search teams consisting of the staff of the unit, as well as the cooperation with the Dâmboviţa County Police Inspectorate, the Border Police, the Inspectorate of the Romanian Gendarmerie.
“We mention that leaving without authorization of the place of detention is assimilated to the offense of escape and is punished according to the provisions of Article 285 of the Criminal Code, with imprisonment from six months to three years,” added the quoted source.
The detainee has a height of 1.70 meters, medium athletic stature, brown eyes, arched eyebrows, oval face, dark skin, dark black hair, unseen beard, and at the time of leaving the work point, black t -shirt, black sneakers, black cap.
