The Ministry of Education called the start and completion dates of the 2025/26 school year in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Krasnoyarsk Territory received recommendations from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on the schedule of organization of training in the 2025/26 academic year.

The Ministry of Education explained that the document provides for the organization of the educational process in quarters and trimester. The new academic year, as usual, will begin on September 1. The educational process will end on May 26. Vacation in the fall, winter and spring will have a duration of at least 7 days. First graders will receive extra time in February. The summer holidays will begin on May 27 and end on August 31, 2026.

“Schools can choose – organize their studies in quarters or trimesters. In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in almost all schools, the educational process takes place in quarters. Between the quarters of schoolchildren, the autumn, winter and spring holidays. For first -graders, additional days of rest are provided. The deadlines for the start of the holidays of the school can be determined independently, but they should be at least seven days, ”said Tatyana Gridasova, deputy minister of education of the region.

The ministry noted that educational institutions will determine the formats of solemn events independently. As a rule, for the first and eleventh grades, this is a joint triumph with congratulations from first -graders, raising the flag and the performance of the anthem of the Russian Federation, invited parents. For the rest of the guys, class hours, visiting excursions, trips to the theater and cinema are held. Due to the fact that this year has been declared the year of the defender of the Fatherland, it is recommended to include patriotic events in the plan of knowledge of the Day of Knowledge.
