The authorities decided to update the Krasnoyarsk Ippid to the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.
The chairman of the regional government, Sergei Vereshchagin, said in his telegram channel that now the mechanisms are determined for updating the Krasnoyarsk Hippodrome. The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, together with JSC “Rosippodromes”, has already prepared a project of a roadmap, including the reconstruction of the facility and the improvement of adjacent territories. The document is coordinated.
The cost of reconstruction of the hippodrome in Krasnoyarsk will be understandable only after the development of design estimates. The development corporation of Yenisei Siberia has already developed an investment proposal to attract extrabudgetary financing. There is a search for investors.
“Hippodrome is unique in that it is simultaneously important for the sphere of sports, agriculture, social sphere and healthcare. But first of all, it is important for many citizens who massively spend their leisure time here. We will seek his modernization, ”summed up Sergey Vereshchagin.
Recall that in January 2022, the Krasnoyarsk Hippodrome was going to sell. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the facility back in 2018 was recognized as a non-core asset. This, in their opinion, indicated three factors – the lack of parking, a cemetery near and industrial zone around. The site and buildings were given for 600 million rubles.
However, the Krasnoyarsk public opposed the sale of the hippodrome, people actively collected signatures and arranged flash mobs. As a result, the object was removed from the auction.
