“I wish they would win”

In a dialogue with Gazeta Sporturilor, Dorin Goian said that he wants Filipe Coelho's team to win the championship, but he also mentioned that a lot can happen in the play-offs.

“I see Craiova University as the favorite for the championship and I would very much like them to win the championship, because they play good football. Then, I would also like that because a lot of money has been invested there for many years and I think it would be a great achievement for the city and the club to get a title.

A championship brought would be the fruit of the work of so many years. I would also like for the fact that Mirel was there, and if the team wins the title, Mirel Radoi also has a lot of credit for what happened to the team.

In the play-off, anything can happen, the points are halved, but Craiova is the team I see as the winner”, said Dorin Goian for Gazeta Sporturilor.

Craiova University will finish the regular season in first place in the Romanian Superliga. Regardless of the result of the match with Rapid, from the last stage, Olten will have secured the 1st place.
