Russian ITSHNI can compete for a prize fund of large -scale hackathon

VTB opened registration for the annual hacaton More.Tech. Participants will have to solve one of three topical problems from the bank's technological teams.
Participants will present their decisions offline on September 20, a prize fund in the amount of 1.5 million rubles will share nine teams among themselves. Hakaton will become an interesting event for graduates and students of technical universities over 18 years of age, and for specialists with experience: developers, analysts, experts in the field of information security.
VTB annually holds a series of IT media, united into the Hakaton family. About 3.5 thousand people became participants in the events in 2024, the total prize pool of events amounted to 4.7 million rubles.
This year, More.Tech tasks will be devoted to optimizing the work of IT commands, the development of solutions on Low-Code- and No-Code-Platforms, and the use of artificial intelligence in HR processes. Participants will be able to choose one of three applied tasks: create a tool for monitoring and analyzing SQL quotes for postgreSQL before their implementation, develop an application for managing vacation graphs and presence in the office using LCNC technologies, or to design a JeA assistant for voice screening for candidates as part of hiring.
“The VTB Hakaton family is an important part of work with young technological talents and IT specialists in the interests of the entire industry. As part of More.Tech, participants solve applied problems reflecting key technological priorities – from the automation of processes to the introduction of artificial intelligence. We pay attention not only to the substantial part of our events, but also to the creation of comfortable conditions for their participants – with understandable cases and the possibility of interaction with leading experts. Such an atmosphere helps to develop skills, build professional connections and work effectively in a team, ”said Sergey Bezbogov, deputy head of the technological bloc-Senior Vice President of VTB.
The event will be held in hybrid format from August 27 to September 20. Registration will last Until September 3. Applications can submit commands of 2-5 people.
