Pilot Vlad Căcărdău had a flight experience for over two decades and worked for Wizzair, Tarom and Carpatair, reports the local publication Aradon. Next to him, in the small plane that collapsed on Saturday in Arad, was an 18 -year -old.
Both people died after the small plane crashed on Saturday, around 11.45, in the Astra courtyard in Arad.
According to the statements offered for Aradon by Dan Cojocaru, the commander of the “Charlie Bravo” aerodrome in Tiria, the small plane took off without problems, and after a few minutes of flight, the control tower announced the collapse of the plane. At the sleeve was Vlad Ccărădău, an experienced line pilot, who piloted for almost two decades commercial aircraft such as Carpathair, Tarom and Wizz Air.
The pilot self -decomposes on the personal page as “experienced captain, with a proven history in the industry of airlines/aviation. Specialized in the maintenance of aircraft, airports, aerospace, commercial aviation and flight planning”.
On Facebook, several people posted condolence messages after the plane accident. “The pilots never die; they just take off and do not return,” wrote a friend of the pilot.
According to the local press, initially the intervention forces transmitted that the victims are a 45 -year -old man and one of 47, but later the information obtained that one of the victims is an 18 -year -old boy, who had on him his father's phone, a businessman from Arad.
The 18 -year -old went to the Tiria aerodrome with his father and brother. The other two stayed in Syria, probably waiting to fly later, according to Aradon.
After the collapse in the courtyard of the factory on Calea Aurel Vlaicu, the small plane caught fire. The private service for emergency situations within the company extinguished the fire before the arrival of the military firefighters.
An investigation is to establish the reasons for the collapse of the small plane.
