A bronze gopher with an umbrella was installed in the Krasnoyarsk microdistrict Solnechny. Photos from the scene appeared in the telegram channel of the city hall.
The seventh gopher turned out to be a girl and received the name of Paradise from the Krasnoyarsk. The figure is located in the park “Sunny Polyana”. The animal is depicted by lying down, its paws and tail covers the bronze umbrella, which acts as an integral part of the composition, the letter “P” is engraved on it.
The idea of a gopher was also proposed by the townspeople. Locals sent their drawings and sketches.
Recall that in total in Krasnoyarsk 10 bronze figures of gophers will appear during the summer. According to legend, they fled from the island of Tatyshev and settled in the iconic places of the city.
