In the past three years, more than adolescents 12-18 years old with poisoning with psychoactive substances began to enter the Krasnoyarsk hospital No. 20. This was told in the regional Ministry of Health.
If in 2022 only one similar case was recorded in the hospital, then for the incomplete 2025 – already 45. Most often, health problems were caused by the use of alcohol, drugs, smoking mixtures and the use of vaypes.

In total, in the first seven months, 171 children came to the pediatricians with poisoning, among them 40 % were children under the age of three, 30 % – from three to seven years. This indicator is higher than in past years. Most of them required hospitalization and even resuscitation assistance. There were no deaths.
Most often, the causes of poisoning are Antiseptics, detergents and cleaning agents, acetic acid, whitening, products for ignition, poisons from insects and rodents, household solvents, gas and gasoline. A separate category is represented by various drugs: antipyretic and antihistamines, antipsychotics, vasoconstrictor, antihypertensive, antiemetic agents.
“The poisoning in children under a year, which are most often associated with the mistakes of parents in the dosage and the regime of taking medications, cause particular alarm,” Maxim Ivanov emphasized the pediatric pediatrician of the pediatric department No. 2.
