[P] How Lucia Făjișteanu transformed, in 10 years, the concept of amusement parks in Romania

This year marks 10 years since the Miramagica Herăstrau, the entertainment project that revolutionized the field of amusement parks in Romania. Behind this success is Lucia Făjișteanu, CEO Britta Trading, visionary and pioneer entrepreneur in the entertainment industry for children and families.
Open to the public in September 2015, the Miramagica Herastrau surprised the visitors with modern attractions, unmatched in Romania, at Western quality and safety standards: the panoramic wheel, the AirBorne Shot, Venetian carousel, Top Dance-Floating Bank-Spark-the attraction that defies gravity, the roller in the form of the man, Jump-Jump mattresses, Bumper Cars, inflatable slide, derby-the competition of the horses, the carousel Tornado, etc.
The project quickly became the favorite destination of the little ones – and not only – tapping hundreds of thousands of visitors every year and inspiring new generations of children and parents. In 2022, Lucia Frăjișteanu expanded the business by the miramagic inauguration of Mamaia, applying a recipe similar to that of Herastrau Park in Bucharest.
The miracle wheel, required at the big festivals and holiday fairs
The most popular attraction in the miramagic portfolio is undoubtedly the Miramagic panoramic wheel with 1 million lights. This not only became the symbol of the park, but it has also been transformed into an emblematic attraction, present at the largest music festival in Romania, Beach, please, but also at Easter and Christmas fairs in Craiova and Bucharest.
Today, the miracle wheel is the most requested outdoor attraction in Romania, due to the ability to provide spectacular visual experiences and to create a central point at any event. Hundreds of thousands of people enjoyed this attraction at music festivals and holiday fairs in the country.
“The miramagica was, from the beginning, a project of soul and a mission to provide children and families unforgettable experiences, to the highest standards of safety and quality. Behind each project is more than an idea-it is a sincere conviction that emotion, safety and excellence can coexist in a single space, every one is in a single space. Concept and design, until Implementation and direct interaction with visitors.

Christmas fairs under Santa's Land concept
Lucia Păjișteanu also contributed to the reinterpretation of Christmas fairs. Last year, he brought to Romania Flying Santa, the attraction of the phenomenon of the Christmas Fair in Craiova, which went viral on the Internet, not only in the country, but also abroad. The videos with Santa Claus flying in the sled drawn by the reindeer above hundreds of thousands of people in Mihai Viteazul Square in Craiova, in a rain of fireworks, gathered hundreds of millions of views on Tiktok, placing Craiova on the map of the most spectacular Christmas fairs in Europe.
Another innovation signed by Lucia Făjișteanu is Santa's Land, a theme amusement park for Christmas fairs, which brings together a series of holiday themed attractions, meant to delight visitors of all ages: a panoramic wheel with over one million lights, a lift of Santa. Sanie drawn by reindeer, Grinch's rotating banquet, a spectacular Venetian carousel with two floors (unique in Romania) and an artificial ice rink.
In addition, among its famous projects are Laminor Winter Wonderland, a Christmas fair specially designed for indoor spaces, but also the presence of panoramic wheel with 1 million lights at Westside Christmas Market, over the last 2 years.
Last but not least, we mention Zorky's Planet in Afi Cotroceni, inaugurated in 2012-at that time the largest Indoor amusement park in Romania-which included the only rollercoaster located in a Mall in Eastern Europe.
“In the last 10 years, the concept of amusement parks has undergone a large development throughout the world, and in Romania, as a pioneer of this industry, I have always tried to keep up with the trends, to bring the newest, unique and safe attractions, to invent concepts and to build renowned brands. 20% of those who visit us are foreign tourists or other cities of Romania.
