Former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergei Tsukanov died

Deputy of the first convocation of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergei Tsukanov died at the age of 70. This was reported on May 18 by the press service of the parliament.
Sergei Tsukanov was born on January 3, 1957 in the village of Filimonovo, Kansky district. Graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute with a degree in automotive mechanical engineer. Since 1985, he was the first secretary of the Kansk district committee of the Komsomol and a deputy of the district council.
Since 1989, Tsukanov has headed the OJSC “Plemzavod “Red Mayak”. He had the title “Honored Worker of Agriculture of Russia”, was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, and the Order of Friendship. In 2006, he was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of the Kansky District.”
Tsukanov was elected as a deputy of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Council of People's Deputies (1989-1991), and then as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region of the first convocation (2007-2011), where he represented the interests of the Kansky region.
Sergei Tsukanov is survived by his wife and two children. Deputies and staff of the Legislative Assembly express their condolences to family and friends.
