In the case of the veto of President Karol Nawrocki, against the windmill act, the government will look for all possible ways to avoid increasing power prices – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Thursday, commenting on the announcements of the future head of the President's office about the President's possible vete to this act.

Before his appointment as the head of President's office, Zbigniew Bogucki said on Thursday morning in Polsat News that the so -called The windbreaker Act “is an inept sidge, an ambush that was to be pledged to be the former President Andrzej Duda or the new President Karol Nawrocki.”
“There is a question at all about the constitutionality of this Act and this sequence of three readings – a situation when in many places the basic issues related to the Act only in the Senate change. And of course something that is very important is thrown there, i.e. shields and lower bills as a consequence for Poles” – explained Bogucki. He emphasized that the president would “handle it.” “There will be a clear message,” he announced.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk was asked about this statement by Bogucki at the Thursday press conference. – I heard this suggestion from the new president's camp that the president would not want to sign the law and grabbed the head – said the head of government.
Head of the Chancellery of the President: The Wiatraków Act is an ambush for the head of state
So -called The windmill act is an inept sidge, an ambush for president Karol Nawrocki, but he can handle it, there will be a clear message – said the future head of the KPRP Zbigniew Bogucki. He added that there will also be time to introduce important changes from the point of view of Poles' wallets.
– This is a windmill act, but among other things, because it will allow the construction of the cheapest energy sources today, because today windmills on land, whether you like it or not, give a chance for the cheapest electricity. I remember how President Nawrocki talked about the fact that he would do one third in three months in three months. If the president thinks that electricity prices are falling from resolutions or projects or declarations of the president, it means that he did not know what he was talking about – said the prime minister.
He explained that “electricity prices may fall when the government pays up because the prices would freeze.” – This is in this act. Electricity prices can fall when there are more and more cheap energy sources and this is also in this act – he pointed out.

– So if the president wants to start as much as President Duda began and, moreover, Mr. Duda also finished, that is, subsequent vets, it will be very bad about the president. (…) We, in turn, can also say that, we will look for all possible ways, so that electricity prices are not severe above all for family farms, and anyway, we will look for ways to avoid price increases. But I would prefer, Mr. President, (…) That you would help in such obvious matters and not disturb – summed up the head of government.
The main goal of the so -called The windmill act is liberalization of existing provisions on investments in windmills on land. The amendment tolerates the 10h principle introduced in 2016 and introduces 500 m as a minimum allowable distance between new wind turbines and residential buildings. Currently, it is 700 m. In addition to the regulations regarding the construction of wind turbines, the Act includes the extending provision introduced during the Sejm works for the fourth quarter of 2025. freezing the price of electricity for households at the level of PLN 500 per mWh net. Currently, freezing is valid until the end of September.
Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyk previously pointed out that in the case of the president's veto under the act “it is absolutely on the table” to submit a bill only on freezing energy prices, without a windmill element. – But on the table we also have tariff recalculation. (…) Today, these high prices of tariffs that resulted from the mistakes of our predecessors, we already know, will be much lower. We will see how low, because these are companies' decisions and we will also shape the frostning of prices – explained the Minister of Energy. (PAP)
