In Krasnoyarsk, the next courier of scammers involved in the prediction of the elderly of their savings was detained.
The day before, an 87-year-old city dweller turned to the police and said that an unknown person called her and said that her daughter had an accident with the victims, in connection with which it was necessary to transfer money to compensate for the damage and resolve the issue with the non-surveillance of the criminal case. The attacker convinced the pensioner to hide 300 thousand rubles in a bag of things and hand them to the courier.
“The criminal investigators detained a 19-year-old guy who, acting as a courier, received money from the victim and transferred them to a bank account of scammers. In the course of work with the attacker, his involvement was established in two more similar crimes committed in different regions of the regional center. In total, the accomplice took the elderly and transferred 699 thousand rubles to his employers, ”the police said.
