Can the Trump-Putin meeting end the war? Here's what is certain

US President Donald Trump intends to meet Vladimir Putin next week, i.e. on August 11-17, “The New York Times” said. Then, according to the publishing house, Trump wants to conduct three -sided talks with the participation of the presidents of Russia and Ukraine.

CNN television sources have confirmed that conversations can take place next week or within two weeks. Two White House employees informed the station that the initiative came from Putin – he proposed a meeting with Trump during talks with Witkoff in Moscow. The US President asked his team to accelerate preparations for meeting Putin and Zelanski.
