Erste Group is taken over by Santander Bank Polska. What does rebranding mean?


“Rzeczpospolita” notes that one of the largest transactions on the Polish market, i.e. the sale of Santander Bank Polska (SBP) for approx. EUR 7 billion (approx. PLN 30 billion) is gaining momentum.
Its completion is planned in the next four months, and the buyer – the Austrian Erste Group has already announced, among others rebranding (although the new name under which the SBP is to operate has not yet been disclosed).
