We are in full age of the public and private video cameras, to which the authorities have access to supervise the activity in the traffic and in the public spaces. Some countries also allow the application of sanctions by the Road Police, others use images only for collecting information. In Japan, a new way has appeared in which the sources of images are extended in the public service.

Vehicles' dashboard have become more and more useful and more and more useful, in critical situations, usually for documenting road accidents, but sometimes they can use in cases less related to road traffic. This gave ideas to the Japanese, who launched a project destined, at least in the declarative way, to SMURD intervention services.
