The US have a plan for Russia this week. A Romanian counselor of Trump and a general with Harvard studies explain what follows

The United States is ready to take action, after Donald Trump to Somat to come to the negotiation table. What this really means explains for “Adevărul”, the political scientist Greg Scărlătoiu, former advisor to Trump, and General (r) Alexandru Grumaz, the first Romanian officer with Harvard.

Donald Trump surprised when he came with a 50-day ultimatum for Putin's Russia, and the surprise became even higher when he returned and modified the term to 10-12 days. This means that the United States would make an extremely important decision during this week.

So far, there have been numerous speculation in this regard, but Trump's true plans are hard to intuit, in a mandate in which the White House leader has shown that he is better for anyone to master the concept of strategic ambiguity.

Former counselor of Donald Trump in his first term, the Romanian political political scratch, along with General (r) Alexandru Grumaz, the first high Romanian officer prepared by Americans at Harvard, explains for “Adevărul”, which would be the solutions by which the US president can force his Russian counterpart to end the war.

Ready with Trump's reconciling attitude

Greg Scărlătoiu speaks of the radical change of Trump. Trump makes a real demonstration of force these days, to show Vladimir Putin that America has a crushing superiority in front of the Russian Federation. This is a Trumpist, non -computer style approach, especially after the former Russian president Dmitri Medvedev is insulted.

“The international environment has changed. It matters less an abortion of international relations based on the interior change, human rights, humanitarian actions. It is simply for strength and forces design. It is a realistic, even realistic-infensive abortion of international relations. From the point of view of the president, it cannot be threatened.explains Scărlătoiu.

If many analysts have been in a hurry to say that sending the two US submarines in the vicinity of Russia is equivalent to a declaration of war, Greg Scărlătoiu is of another opinion.

“Sending those two nuclear submarines does not mean in any case that we want to start a nuclear war now with Russia. Definitely, there is no problem. But it is about designing the force.”explains Scărlătoiu.

Taller sanctions than ever

General Alexandru Grumaz also speaks of a turning point, who comes with a few indications regarding the next steps of Donald Trump. Economic sanctions against Russia would be the peak of spear, but the actions of Americans would not be limited to that.

“The new tariffs that Trump threatens Russia and its allies, first of all, will be a change in the White House. Until now, the Trump administration, but not only, has avoided adopting harsh sanctions against Russia. Now, this time, he spoke openly about this and sent a clear message to Putin. Russia. says the general.

On the other hand, Putin does not seem timid. After leaving Dmitri Medvedev with his usual aggressive statements, Vladimir Putin himself sent an arrogant response to Trump. This means, without a doubt, that Russia does not want to put an end to hostilities and challenge Trump.

“Putin was determined to use what he considers to be a great advantage, namely the situation on the battlefield, where the invasion on the wide scare of Ukraine went with small incremental successes. But they are successful and the Kremlin leader said very clearly that the struggles without the concessions were excluded. Respired in Peskov's statements. He called Trump's deadline as a threat and a step to the war.”, Mentions the general.

Why China will represent an exception from the rule

In this context, it becomes obvious that the next step will be the transition to harsh sanctions against Russia and its allies. In parallel, the US will begin to send more weapons to Ukraine and provide important support, the general believes.

However, not all states that trade with Russia will be sanctioned. General Alexandru Grumaz is convinced that China will be an exception and explains why.

“Of course, Americans have threatened to sanction all the countries that support Russia, but it will not be so. I am sure they do not sanction them all. China will not be sanctioned. And I explain what I rely on when I say this: Taiwan's defense minister should have reached Washington to discuss security with US. Clearly, TUMP does not want to upset China. General Grumaz explains.

And Greg Scărlătoiu also refers to the hard economic sanctions that will target Russia. In his opinion, the situation of Russia would be extremely delicate, much heavier than allowing certain figures to look.

“Trump has already addressed this issue of Russia's economic vulnerability. Russia is extraordinarily vulnerable. The Russians are based on energy, but when some tougher sanctions will be implemented, Russia will have big problems, for sure. Trade with China is an important source of income, but there is no more limits.” says the political scientist.

In support of his statement, Greg Scărlătoiu recalls that Russia uses weapons and ammunition from China, Iran and North Korea, which would indicate that their own reserves are not sufficient.

“For more than a year, for a year and a half, the Russians have reached the point where they have to rely on imports from North Korea, China, Iran. With Iran it has finished now. So they are in a very difficult position. I think the economic sanctions are the sleeve for Trump and that they will finally kneel,” Consider Scărlătoiu.

In parallel, Americans will continue to support Ukraine. Unlike General Alexandru Grumaz, Greg Scărlătoiu believes that China will also be sanctioned by Trump, if Beijing chooses to continue to support Russia.

“It is as clear as it is clear that America will continue to support this Ukraine war, this effort to self -defy Ukraine, without discussion. The United States, when President Donald Trump decides that new sanctions serve national interest, will not hesitate to sanction anyone, without any problem. Thus, less a direct war with Russia. Greg Scărlătoiu concludes.
