Krasnoyarsk residents were explained whether the instructions for equipment must be in Russian

Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor explained what to do if the instructions for the product were not translated into Russian.
A resident of the region contacted the department with this question. She said that she bought a hair dryer, but at home she discovered that the instructions for it were written in a foreign language.
Experts explained: according to the law “On the Protection of Consumer Rights”, the seller is obliged to provide the buyer with complete information about the product, including rules for safe use. Failure to translate instructions is considered to provide inappropriate information.
In this case, the buyer has the right to refuse the goods within a reasonable time, demand a refund and compensation for losses.
