France flies migrants to Spain. The crime and anxiety of residents are growing


According to the journal, most of these migrants are people who got to Spain by sea from Africa. However, their goal is not to stay in Spain – they want to continue their journey to France, Belgium or Germany. After reaching Barcelona, many of them head north, trying to cross the border in the vicinity of Portbou – on foot, by car or train.

French policemen stationed at the Cerbère station, right on the French side of the border, stop migrants and turn them south. According to railway workers, Officers often put immigrants forcibly on trains going to Spain – even though they do not have tickets, which raises objection to the conductors.
