NABU confirmed that searches were held in Germany at the ex-Zamglava OP Shurma


First, the German edition of Spiegel wrote about the searches at Shurma. On July 31, journalists said that in the house of the former deputy head of the OP in Starnberg, investigative actions took place on July 15.

“Yes, I can confirm that the relevant investigative actions took place. […] This criminal proceedings are actively investigated. We are waiting in accordance with German law enforcement officers in the framework of our international cooperation of separate information, ”Krivonos emphasized.

He did not reveal more details due to the risk of “harm” the case.

Context

Shurma served as deputy head of the president’s office since November 23, 2021. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky fired him in September 2024.

Shurm was mentioned in the Bihus.info investigation of August 17, 2023. Due to the fact that his brother Oleg is associated with some companies that Ukraine probably paid more than 320 million UAH for electricity from solar power plants located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhya region.

In an interview with Interfax-Ukraine on September 27, Shurma commented on the investigation, saying that his whole business of his brother was “built on the principles of legality and on all the highest moral standards.”
