Russian strategists have chosen a new goal. They showed the attack plans

Russia got scared of Tokyo deployment of Japanese missile systems Type 12 and provided by the United States of MRC Typhon – with a range of over 2,000. kilometers – recognizing that they are a direct threat to its eastern territory. According to Defense Blog, Russian analysts believe that the answer to this movement of Japan would require a complex attack using a precise weapon fired from the air, sea and land.
Plans of Russian strategists. Stages of the attack on Japan
As the first stage, they proposed to destroy the most important Japanese anti-aircraft and missile defense nodes, in particular the patriot PAC-3 batteries located in the Hakodate port in the southern part of Hokkaido and in Iruma and Gifu on the island of Honsiu. They calculated that 25 to 45 maneuvering missiles for each database-using systems such as KH-101 or Iskander or alternatively, 10-12 hypersonic bullets of the Kindler would be needed.
The Russians decided that in this phase it would be necessary to track and destroy the Japanese radars of early warning of those located, among others, in Tobetsu at Hokido. They assumed that about seven CH-10 missiles would be needed to neutralize each radar station.
The next goal of the Russian attack would be Japanese sea bases in Maizur and Offico, which could be immobilized with the help of 20-25 maneuvering missiles for each of them. According to the disclosed plan, turning off these ports would seriously limit the military ability of Japanese self -defense forces.
The third stage would include military and industrial facilities, specifically Mitsubishi shipyards in Nagasaki, Kobe, Shimonoseki and Jokohama. According to Russia, they are crucial not only for Japanese maritime potential, but also for maintaining the American fleet and sea bases located in the North Pacific region.
Russian planners decided that a successful attack would threaten the security of US and Japan security.
Russia has made public plans to attack Japan. Here is a possible goal
Although this scenario was presented as a theoretical response to the distribution of rockets by Japan, it proves Russia's serious fears that in the event of a possible war with NATO, its eastern borders will be unveiled and exposed to the attacks of the United States troops and their allies, including potentially Japan.
In December last year, the “Financial Times”, citing documents made available to the media by Western sources, revealed that Russia in 2008-2014 developed plans to attack on selected civil and military facilities in Japan and South Korea. The Kremlin then prepared a list of 160 goals, including airlines and sea installations, as well as critical civil infrastructure, such as tunnels, bridges, energy complexes and industrial facilities.
Probably Russia intentionally allowed both plans to make it public to sow uncertainty and fear in the Japanese, hoping that they would leave their government from supporting Ukraine and NATO. And in April Tokyo signaled the desire to participate in NSAT, i.e. a NATO mission supporting Ukraine, among others, by providing and repairing its military equipment.
