Specialists of the regional Rospotrebnadzor gave recommendations for the choice of chicken meat and semi -finished products.

First of all, experts advise not to buy such products in spontaneous markets. It is more reliable to make purchases in large stores, giving preference to trusted manufacturers.

Particular attention should be paid to the label. The ingredients in the composition are always indicated in the order of decreasing their mass fraction, so the main component is in the first place. Experts warn against the purchase of products, where at the beginning of the list it is listed Mechanical firing meat (MMO). This is a mass obtained from the remains of fillet, bones, skin and cartilage, which contains more fat and less high -quality protein. Such a product is cheaper, but its nutritional value is lower.

When choosing chicken minced meat, it is important to evaluate its appearance. A high -quality product has a uniform reddish color without gray or greenish spots. Its consistency should be homogeneous, without visible inclusions in the form of pieces of skin, bones, cartilage or blood clots. In the ideal composition of high -quality minced meat, only meat should be indicated.

If the semi -finished products are in vacuum packaging, you need to make sure of its integrity. The presence of snow or ice inside may indicate that the product has repeatedly froze and defrost. Also on the label, the shelf life and storage conditions must be indicated.
