In Krasnoyarsk, drivers of garbage trucks resumed work after a breakdown of the exit on the flight, the Ministry of Ecology of the Territory said.

Drivers of garbage trucks today, June 25, refused to do their work. This happened due to the incorrect transmission of information to them. The fact is that the regional operator for the management of solid utilities LLC Rostteh noted its contractors about the possibility of revising the volume of costs and plans to optimize the costs of transportation of waste. Drivers of garbage equipment appreciated this information as the possibility of reducing wages, the ministry explained.

The General Director of Rosttech Evgeny Shepelev recalled that the company is an administrator and manages the process of work. The work on transportation of waste, their processing and placement is performed by contractors.

“Due to the difficult economic situation, we discussed the issue with contracting organizations to optimize expenses related to transportation so as not to worsen the financial situation in the company. This should not be at the expense of salary, it may be at the expense of some operating expenses. Today, Rostteh, the company operates as usual, is not related to a decrease in salaries. A misunderstanding arose at some of the drivers, ”explained the head of the Rosttekh.

As a result, to resume work, the intervention of the Minister of Ecology Vladimir Chasovitin was required. The garbage trucks went to work at about 12 in the afternoon. Evgeny Shepelev explained that an agreement was already reached in the withdrawal of additional brigades in order to eliminate the consequences of garbage collection delay.

“In all territories in the zone of activity of Rosttech, garbage will be exported on an ongoing basis, and we will not allow failures. Our task is now to catch up with the schedule that we had and work on improving the services provided to the population, ”the head of the company assured.

Vladimir Chesovitin plans to hold a joint meeting in which the leadership of the regional operator of Rosttekh JSC and the waste transportation operators of LLC Progress and LLC LIKSO will take part.
