Kezhema District Library, with the support of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric station, replenished the book fund

More than 930 books designed for readers of different ages and tastes were acquired at the means of the program of charity and sponsorship of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station. Employees of the Kezhem inter -settlement central district library named after A.F. Karnaukhov formed a list of publications based on the study of visitors' requests, and already offer these books to residents of all settlements of the district.

The new batch of books has become one of the largest in the years of fruitful cooperation between power engineers and library.

“Our territory is far from the regional center, and not every resident has the opportunity to visit the libraries of Krasnoyarsk or bookstores, not every house has a computer or tablet for reading online. The only place to get acquainted with classics and literary news is our libraries that should have new fiction and new scientific information in their funds. We thank the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station for supporting book culture in our area, ”said Galina Efimova, director of the district library.

The branches of the district library are served by more than 14 thousand users, that is, more than half of the inhabitants of the Kezhemsky district. Library employees are holding urban and district levels, and library branches are working in interest clubs for children, adolescents, youth and adults. More than 330 thousand copies of various publications are given to readers annually.

In 2025, thanks to the support of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, which allocated to the library more than 500 thousand rubles, readers received the opportunity to get acquainted with the novelties of popular science and fiction, read well-familiar classical works and modern journalistic publications. A noticeable part of the books is devoted to the history of Russia from antiquity to modern times, including the Great Patriotic War.

The Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station regularly provides assistance to the district library. In 2023, the station allocated to the library more than 240 thousand rubles, 350 books were purchased for these funds. In 2024, the library received the book “The Wonderful Workshop of the Bobrovaya Poruda” and the new issues of developing and training books for blind and visually impaired children published with the financial support of the RusHydro group. On International Booking Day in 2025, the district library received for its branches the book “The wonderful expedition of the Lapich Lapish”, published by the Samota Publishing House by order of RusHydro.

The program of charitable and sponsorship of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station is annually formed on the basis of appeals of citizens, public organizations, municipal institutions and authorities of the city of Kodinsk and the Kezhemsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The partners of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station in the implementation of the program were the municipal authorities of the Kezhemsky district and the settlements included in it, institutions of preschool and additional education, health and culture, non -profit organizations and charitable foundations.
