At the end of July, the PB95 gasoline cost on average 5.89 PLN/l– results from BM Reflex data. It is 52 gr/l cheaper than a year ago, when we tanked this fuel on average PLN 6.41/l. Diesel was usually offered after 6.05 PLN/l. It is an average of 38 gr/l less than 12 months ago. The average retail price of autogas was at the level PLN 2.71/l. This is the same as a year ago.

Remember that we write about average prices in the whole country. Prices at individual stations may vary by up to several dozen pennies per liter, depending on the location and strength of local competition.

Throughout the previous month, we observed a slow return to normality after ankle price increases from the end of June. This mainly concerned gasoline, the average retail price of the previous six weeks decreased by 12 gr/l. But it is still 15 gr/l higher than it was at the end of May.

The situation of cars with diesel engines is worse. The diesel oil has only been slightly slightly and is still offered at prices by 35 gr/l higher than in mid -June.

There may be no further reductions. Rafineries increase the price lists

On August 1, he offered Eurosuper 95 gasoline 4564 PLN/m3, to the addition of 23% VAT gives approx. 5.61 PLN/l (excise duty and other parapodates are already included in the wholesale price). It's up to 15 gr/l more than a week ago. This situation significantly hinders further price reductions at distributors. In turn, increases in wholesale are the result of the growth of gasoline stock prices observed this week and the dollar strengthening – both in relation to the euro and Polish zloty.

Such strong increases were not observed in the diesel market, which in the Friday price list of the Płock refinery was at the price of PLN 4,750/m3. After ovathing, it gives about 5.84 PLN/l, which is two grosze per liter more than a week ago.
