David Popovici has achieved a new reference performance in his sports career, winning on Thursday, July 31, the gold in the 100 -meter free race at the Singapore World Natation Championships.
At just 20 years old, the Romanian swimmer enters an extremely select club of athletes who manage to obtain world titles in the fastest sprint tests-100 and 200 m free-in two different editions of the Supreme Competition.
