Krasnoyarsk took a toy pistol from his grandchildren and robbed a grocery store

A 54-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk will be judged by a raid with a toy gun for a grocery store.

As the police said, the crime was committed in April this year:

“Then, not yet convicted, the defendant decided to kidnap money from a small outlet, located near his house. To not recognize him, he put on a mask on his face. Approaching the counter, an attacker, threatening an object similar to a pistol, began to demand cash from the saleswoman. Frightened, she handed him almost 11 thousand rubles, and after the raider left she reported what had happened to the police. ”

The operatives detained the robber in hot pursuit. It turned out that the gun he used was childish made of plastic. The man borrowed him and the mask from the toys of his grandchildren.

During the investigative actions, the attacker returned part of the stolen amount to the store.

He is currently under house arrest, he faces imprisonment for up to 10 years. Materials of a criminal case initiated under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed using objects used as weapons) are sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
