Zygmunt Solorz included the prosecutor's office in the dispute with children. The investigation concerns fraud

Zygmunt Solorz declares full confidence in the prosecutor's office and announces support during the investigation into his dispute over property with children. In his opinion, evidence indicates that his statements of August 2, 2024 regarding the transfer of power to children in the companies from the Polsat Group were invalid.

In connection with the information about the initiation of an investigation into fraud to my detriment, I emphasize my full confidence in the Polish prosecutor's office. Due to the secret of the investigation, I will not comment on the matter until its completion – Zygmunt Solorz informed PAP.
In his first statement for the media from the time of dismissal last week from the function of chairman of the supervisory boards of Polsat Group companies, Zygmunt Solorz declared that both he and his representative will support the prosecutor's office in the course of proceedings.
“I believe that these actions will confirm my position, also in the context of conduct in Liechtenstein. Available evidence in the matter clearly indicate that the statements of August 2, 2024 were invalid. I hope that the courts of both countries will comprehensively assess all the circumstances of the case, “said Zygmunt Solorz.
The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw initiated an investigation into the dispute over the succession between Zygmunt Solor and his children, i.e. Tobiasz Solor, and Piotr and Aleksandra Żakami. The representative of Zygmunt Solorz made a notification in this matter.
Mateusz Martyniuk, spokesman for the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, informed: “The prosecutor's office initiated an investigation into the suspicion of bringing on August 1 and 2, 2024 in Warsaw Zygmunt Solorz to an unfavorable regulation with own property in the form of property rights related to the activities of the TIVI Foundation with its registered office at Vaduz, Liechtenstein and the Solkomtel Foundation based in Vaduz, Liechtenstein in order to achieve property benefits by bringing the victim to submitting declarations of will to result in the disadvantage resulting in an adverse regulation of the above property with a value greater than ten times the amount specifying the amount of great value, the act of art. 286 parish 1 of the Penal Code in joke. 294 parish 4 of the Penal Code “.
The children of Zygmunt Solorz say that on August 2, 2024, Zygmunt Solorz gave them power in Polsat Group companies. In turn, the billionaire and his representatives argue that the children at that time misled the father and no transfer of power occurred.
Before courts in Poland and in Liechtenstein (where the TIVI Foundation is based, which is formally the majority of companies from the Polsat Group) civil proceedings are underway regarding the property dispute in the Solorz family.
The new edition of the dispute took place on July 22, when Zygmunt Solorz was dismissed from the head of the supervisory councils of Cyfrowy Polsat, Telewizja Polsat, Polkomtel and Netia. Daniel Kaczorowski became the head of the Cyfrowy Polsat Council, and Andrzej Abramczuk was appointed a new president of the company in place of the dismissed Mirosław Błaszczyk.
Abramczuk was also appointed the president of Polkomtel, and Kaczorowski also as the chairman of the supervisory boards of Polkomtel, Netia and Television Polsat.
The decision to dismiss was made unanimously by the Foundation Council, which consists of three people: a representative appointed by the court in Liechtenstein Peter Schierscher, Jarosław Grzesiak (a representative of the children of Solorz) and a representative of Zygmunt Solorz, Tomasz Szeląg.
On the same afternoon, the lawyers of Zygmunt Solorz announced the appeal against the appeal of Zygmunt Solorz from the authorities of the Polsat Plus group. They explained that the changes are in contradiction with both the procedures and the law. They indicated in a statement that the appeal was – in his opinion – only a temporary run aimed at drawing attention to the dispute around the company, which does not serve its current operations. The statement emphasized that: “persons who have been defective must take into account strict responsibility for actions taken until court rulings regarding their mandates.”
In turn, the children of Zygmunt Solorz comprehensively accepted the decision of the TIVI Foundation on changes in Polsat Group companies. In their opinion, the fact that the resolution was adopted by the Foundation Council unanimously indicates a deep conviction of the need to take these steps.
Their representative, Paweł Rymarz, rejects the allegations of defective personal decisions in these companies.
Cyfrowy Polsat is a dominant entity in the Polsat Plus group. Zygmunt Solorz is the main shareholder of Cyfrowy Polsat, having through other entities, including Tivi Foundation Foundation, 62 percent shares, giving over 70 percent votes at the General Meeting.
In May, the court in Lichtenstein dismissed Zygmunt Solorz's action regarding changes in the statute of his Tivi Foundation Foundation, under which Solorz's control was to take over his children. The appeal against this unlawful judgment was submitted in June. After the judgment of the Court of First Instance, Zygmunt Solorz in a statement emphasized that he had kept control of the Tivi Foundation.
The dispute between Zygmunt Solorz and his children concerned succession in the billionaire's business empire and was revealed in September 2024. Gazeta Wyborcza said that the three children of Zygmunt Solorz sent a warning to managers of four most important businessman companies to managers. They believe that the good of these companies is threatened by people who want to take control of business. It comes, among others About Polsat and strategic companies for the state. The newspaper reported that the children of Zygmunt Solorz are in a sharp dispute with Justyna Kulka, wife of Solorz.
On the same day, when the text appeared in the newspaper, Solorz announced that he was dismissing his sons from the authorities of the companies belonging to his holding. The case went to court in Lichtenstein, which issued a decision to appoint a probation officer in Tivi Foundation. At the same time, the rights of Zygmunt Solorz were suspended as the owner of the foundation to appoint members of their management bodies.
In October 2024, the sons of Solorz were dismissed from the supervisory boards of Cyfrowy Polsat, Netia and Polkomtel. Also in October 2024 they were removed from the supervisory board of the energy group from PAK. (PAP Biznes)
