At the moment we have 32 people detained and suspected of cooperation with Russian services who commissioned diversion acts or beating – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Tuesday. He added that among them are Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, there is also a Pole and a Colombian.



Prime Minister Donald Tusk, referring to the issue of a 27-year-old Colombian, who is to stand behind two arson in Poland, emphasized that the work of the prosecutor's office and Polish services confirmed once again that also these sampling attempts took place on the direct order of Russian services.
He pointed out that the threat of confrontation from Russia would, regardless of events in Ukraine and how the conflict would end there. – It is assessed by everyone, by the Americans, by NATO, by our European allies as a permanent threat, also in the future – said the prime minister.
He also informed that at the moment 32 people are detained and suspected of cooperation with Russian services, which commissioned diversion acts or beating. “And this suspicion is justified,” said the head of government.
He added that there are Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians among these people, there is also a Pole and a Colombian. One person is convicted, others are stopped and wait for processes.
This list is not exhausted, but regardless of the fact that we are really effective when it comes to activities against the authors of subversive and beaten on behalf, it is also time to announce such a real alert for all services – emphasized the prime minister.
He pointed out that there is no doubt that Russian activity concerns some “initiated political environments” and that the destabilization of the situation on the borders, an attempt to paralyze the work of our services are close to “drastic subversive actions, such as attempts to set or beat.”
– Everyone who destabilizes the Polish state or tries to destabilize the situation at the borders, is directly (…) or indirectly a helper of Russian services and therefore we will act absolutely. I turned to the ministers (…) to take even more intense and energetic actions to both prevent risks and catch all those who attack the Polish state for Russian money – said the head of government.
The Prime Minister also informed that one of the coordinators of subversive actions had been detained and brought to Poland. – It is at the disposal of the prosecutor's office and our services in Poland – emphasized Tusk.
He also noted that Polish services will catch anyone who is responsible for a subversive or will try to implement subversive actions in our country.
On Tuesday, ABW and spokesman for the Minister of the Special Service Coordinator Jacek Dobrzyński announced that behind two arson that took place in 2024 in Poland there is a 27-year-old Colombian acting on the request of a Russian intelligence. The events took place on May 23 last year. in Warsaw and a week later, on May 30 in Radom.
ABW said that the Colombian was charged with acting for a foreign interview against the Polish -Lithuanian Commonwealth and the commitment of terrorist crimes.
“The suspect received detailed instructions from the principal regarding the purpose of the attack and how to carry it out, including the execution of an incendiary bottle (the so -called Molotov cocktail), as well as the use of a specific means of transport,” reads the ABW message.
ABW estimated that the disclosed “Modus Operandi” is part of analogous events identified in many countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
“It has been confirmed that Russian services, using a telegram messenger, systemically and on a large scale, recruited people of Latin American origin, with military experience, to diagnose the locations indicated to them, and then set on fire to selected objects and documenting damage. Photos and recordings were then used by Russian -speaking media for disinformation and propaganda purposes,” ABW. (PAP)
