Two people were killed and at least three others were injured in a armed attack on a casino in the city of Reno, in the US state, according to the local press, informs Reuters, taken over by Agerpres.
The armed attack took place in the Grand Sierra Resort parking lot. At least two people were killed and at least three others required hospitalization due to the wounds suffered, CNN reported.
A suspect was detained by officers of the Reno Police Department, according to a police statement. The suspect was hospitalized.

The suspect, whose identity was not made public, was seen walking through the parking lot for about 45 minutes before the armed attack, and his weapon blocked for a short time after he started shooting, CNN reported, citing an anonymous police officer.
The mayor of Reno, Hillary Schieve, told Reno Gazette Journal that two people died. “We are trying to find out what happened,” Schieve told the newspaper. She said two people are in critical condition.
Reno is the second largest city in Nevada after Las Vegas and is also known for its casinos.
