Krasnoyarsk broke a record of 39 years ago at 100 meters running

Krasnoyarsk Konstantin Krylov ran a hundred meters in 10.04 seconds and broke a 39-year-old record. This was reported in the Ministry of Sports of the region.

The historical event took place on July 25 in Cheboksary at the Russian Championship among athletes under 23 years old. The previous record belonged to Nikolai Yushmanov (1986) and Andrei Epishin (2006)-both overcame the distance in 10.10 seconds.

Konstantin Krylov is 21 years old, now he is rightfully considered the fastest person to countries. In 2023, the Krasnoyarsk broke the junior record of Russia at a distance of 100 meters, and also became a champion in running 200 meters. In 2024, he won a 200-meter and a team relay race at the BRICS games, and at the Russian championship he won gold at distances of 100 and 200 meters.
