The working village of the IN, the center of the Smidovichi district, was renamed the working village of Smidovich in accordance with the resolution of the USSR CEC of July 27, 1943 “On the renaming of some district centers of the autonomous Jewish National Region”.

It was founded in 1910 at the railway station in. The name of the station is given along the IN River, translated from the language of local peoples means “The rope on which the fishing network is stretched”, “Pit for storage of products”, another meaning is translated from the Evenki “In” – life.

In 1913, during the construction of the Amur Railway, the station was visited by the Norwegian traveler Fridiof Nansen.

In 1913, it was a small station, which was located on the site of the former rotten river, there were only 25 houses. In the neighborhood with these houses, a large barn was built, the so -called steam locomotive depot, at the disposal of which there was one steam locomotive. There was no landscaped street, there were only a church and two foundations.

In 1915, the construction of a large depot began. But time went forward, the village was upset, new residents came, married, gave birth to children. During the years of pre -war five -year -olds, the settlement turned into a large working village, a secondary school, a hospital, etc. arose …

In 1921, a parade of troops was held at the Invo station in front of the Volochaevsky battle, with the participation of Vasily Konstantinovich Blucher. This parade took place after the Battle of Inskoye.

On this day, the Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation Polina Borisovna Kraveko (in girlhood – Levintal) was born in Birobidzhan.

Polina Levintal first crossed the threshold of the first school in 1964. After graduating from school No. 8, Polina, along with the class teacher, Belaga M. A., went to study at the first school.

In 1966, the Levintal (kiss) fields graduated from high school and entered the Khabarovsk Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Chemical and Biological. After graduating from the institute in 1972, Polina returned to Birobidzhan to teach chemistry at her native school No. 1.

The first class of Polina Borisovna was a creative, initiative, in 1974 the team of this class first took part in the city chemical Olympics and took all prizes.

She has a desire for knowledge and creativity, a deep analysis of her own activity. She actively uses modern teaching methods, each of her lessons is a creative search.

In 1989, a chemical and biological class was created at the school.

Polina Borisovna was one of the first in the EAO to undertake the in -depth teaching of chemistry at school. Pupils of its chemical-biological class are confident in their knowledge in this field. They successfully perform at city, regional and zonal chemistry Olympiads – 23 winners have been trained in a specialized class for all years.

From 1992 to 1999, she was awarded seven times the Soros Grant.

Colleagues consider Polina Borisovna a vocation teacher, one of those teachers who are not just becoming, but are born.

Polina Borisovna conducted an optional “development of creative thinking in solving chemical problems” at school, where students deepened their knowledge.

The 25th anniversary of the pedagogical activity of Polina Borisovna Levintal-Poraloiko was marked by the assignment of the title “Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation”.

The village of Krasny Vostok was allocated from administrative subordination of the Zheltoyarovsky Village Council and transferred to the administrative submission of the Valdgamsk Village Council by the decision of the Birobidzhan district executive committee of the EAO from July 27, 1990 No. 24.
