US billionaire Elon Musk said on Saturday that he hopes that in the future he will see a total freedom of trade between the United States and Europe, speaking a few days after US President Donald Trump announced the imposition of customs taxes, Reuters reports.

Musk, a Trump's advisor who strived to eliminate the waste from the American public expenses, spoke by video connection to a Congress in Florence of the Italian Party of Right Law.
“After all, I hope it will be agreed that both Europe and the United States should go ideally, in my opinion, to a situation with zero customs duties, actually creating an area of free trade between Europe and North America.” Musk said.
According to Trump's plans announced on Wednesday, Italy, which has a great commercial surplus with the United States, will be subjected to a 20 % general tariff along with other countries in the European Union, according to News.
