Three people died in an explosion on a vessel in the Bâstroe / River traffic channel deviated on the Sulina channel

Three workers lost their lives in an explosion produced on a dragon on the Ukrainian channel Bâstroe, which connects the Danube and the Black Sea, the Ukrainian authorities announced on Thursday, according to DPA and Ukrinform, quoted by Agerpres.
Seven other members of the dragon crew have been hospitalized, the authority of Ukrainian maritime (USPA) ports said on Facebook.

For now, the cause of the explosion is not known. The region was repeatedly the target of drone attacks made by Russian forces.
Shortly after the incident, naval traffic on the Bâstroe channel was closed. The passage of ships to and from the ports of the Danube region is currently achieved via the Sulina Canal, according to Ukrinform.
USPA has announced that it will provide full support to the families of the deceased and injured in the incident.
