Dinamo Signs Defender Martin Pascual on Two-Year Deal

Dinamo has officially announced the signing of central defender Martin Pascual, a 26-year-old who was a free agent after playing last season at Mirandes in Spain’s second division.
This marks Dinamo’s fourth summer signing, following Adriano Manole, Ianis Doană, and Răzvan Radu, with Pascual now becoming a “red dog” at the club.
Born in Madrid and raised by Rayo Vallecano, Pascual has signed a contract lasting until the summer of 2028, with an option for the club to extend it for another season.
Welcome, Martin! We wish you much success in the Dinamo jersey and many achievements! – Dinamo Statement
Dinamo Introduces New Central Defender: Martin Pascual
Pascual has spent his entire career in Spain, including two years with Rayo’s first team, a season with Villarreal’s B team, a season at UD Ibiza, and one season with Atletico Madrid’s second team, culminating in his most recent spell at Mirandes in the second division.
During the last completed season, Pascual made 23 appearances; he was a key player early on but later spent more time on the bench, with sporadic appearances usually at the end of matches.
Having only signed a one-year contract with Mirandes, Dinamo was able to acquire him without a transfer fee.
Overall, Pascual has played 72 times in the second tier and 58 times in Spain’s third tier. Although he was part of Rayo’s squad for the 2023/2024 season, he did not see any action in La Liga, remaining an unused substitute in 25 of the 38 fixtures.
