In one of the Podkarpackie spas, 24 -hour parking fees were introduced. No more free places. Drivers will pay for stopping every day of the week. The municipality hopes that the change will improve vehicle rotation and increase the availability of parking lots, especially in the season.

The authorities of the Iwonicz-Zdrój commune (Podkarpackie Voivodeship) introduced Paid parking in all municipal parking lots for 7 days a week. The recipe includes both passenger vehicles and larger (buses and buses). The decision was made unanimously by local councilors and aims to improve the accessibility of parking spaces, especially in the summer season and during large cultural or spa events.

24 -hour fees in all parking lots

According to the regulations, the first parking hour remains free. The next hours are cost PLN 3 for each time started for passenger cars. Free first hour is not valid for buses and buses. In their case, the rate is PLN 6 gross per hour for buses and PLN 10 gross per hour for buses.

In turn, for patients and people working in the spa, preferential rates are provided, and residents can use monthly subscriptions. Special government officials have introduced to the current pool of passes 24-day sanatorium subscription. Its price depends on the type of vehicle and brings for:

  • passenger cars: PLN 220 gross,
  • buses: PLN 270 gross,
  • buses: PLN 350 gross,

Employees at the Commune Office in Iwonicz-Zdrój and the organizational units of the commune and other entities conducting spa, healing or economic activities in the city of Iwonicz-Zdrój can use employee subscription for PLN 100 gross per month. ABOUTHe only cares during the working hours of the employee using the subscription.

Changes possible thanks to the amendment

The mayor of Iwonicz-Zdrój indicates that the decision was necessary. As he emphasizes, too many drivers – mainly patients – treated parking lots as private parking spaces for many days, which hindered the functioning of the local community and limited the rotation of vehicles, they give novelties24.
