In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, criminal cases of fraud for 5 million rubles and negligence were instituted in the improvement of the embankment in Zelenogorsk, the prosecutor's office said.
In June 2024, the Municipal Institution “Customer” from Zelenogorsk entered into a contract for the improvement of the Kang River Embankment from KSTS LLC. Works worth 25.7 million rubles were carried out as part of the National Project “Housing and the Urban Environment”.
The contractor had to perform various work, including establishing new lighting supports. But for “savings“ Instead of quality structures, cheap analogues were made and mounted. The difference amounted to 5 million rubles.
The customer accepted the work and paid in full. Violation was revealed by representatives of the prosecutor's office. Criminal cases of fraud were instituted on the collected materials (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and negligence (part 1 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The course of the investigation is controlled by the supervisory authority.
