The “powerful” trade agreement with Japan, announced by President Donald Trump, assumes the purchase of 100 Boeing aircraft by Tokyo, as well as an increase in shopping of American armament by $ 3 billion and rice by 75 percent. – the White House informed on Wednesday.

As a representative of the White House passed on to journalists, the agreement with Japan provides for the purchase of goods by Japanese importers worth $ 8 billion, including rice and other agricultural produce, as well as 100 Boeing aircraft. Japan is also foreseen for the purchase of American military equipment from $ 14 to 17 billion.
Additional details were also given by President Trump, who in Wednesday's post announced that Japan “for the first time in history” agreed to open the market to American products, including cars and rice.
“The Japanese open market can be as a large factor of profit as the customs, but it was achieved only thanks to the strength of the duties. They also agreed to buy military equipment and other with a value of billions of dollars, giving us 90 % from $ 550 billion – and more !!!” – wrote Trump.
According to Japanese media, the agreement assumes that the duty of importing products from Japan will be 15 percent. – less than the 25 % announced by Trump, but much more than before. The 15 % duty also applies to cars, which were so far covered by a 25 % tax.
Trump announced on Wednesday that he is willing to lower the level of tariffs in exchange for facilitating the access of American companies to the markets of individual countries.
“I will reduce customs only if the country agrees to open its market. Otherwise, the tariffs will be much higher! Japanese markets are already open (for the first time in history!)” – he announced in the next post.
