Zelensky noted that the meeting agreed on the main goal of the meeting and a list of key topics for Ukraine.
“The liberation of our people from Russian captivity should continue, and now, right now, the necessary procedures have already begun for a new exchange – we are waiting for our people tomorrow. I really hope that tomorrow we will succeed. We try, in particular, thanks to our partners, international intermediaries, we try to ensure the release of civil hostages and the return of our children who were abducted by Russia, ”the president said.
He also emphasized that the Ukrainian delegation should achieve a ceasefire and work on the organization of a meeting of the leaders of the countries.
