Caius Adrian Lungu died at the age of 36. The former defender made a heart attack, in the street, Wednesday morning.

Caius Lungu ran on a street in Timisoara, along with his brother, when he was hurt. He was taken over by an ambulance and urgently transported to the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Timisoara, where he died.

Caius was a man dedicated to football, an appreciated colleague and a valuable component of our team. His lightning loss is deeply ending, and our thoughts are in his family. Throughout his career, the footballer has wore the shirt of several bands, such as Fortuna Covaci, Voința Sibiu, CSM Râmnicu Vâlcea, Ripensia Timișoara, Coloro (Italy), CSM Reșița, Periaam and Pobeda Star Bîsnov. He debuted in professional football at CSS Timișoara.
