Fraudsters intimidated the young Norilsk woman with the “Stateizer” of their parents, but were left without money

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police helped the family save 800 thousand rubles from scammers.

The day before, a 48-year-old woman, with a statement that her 17-year-old daughter had disappeared, turned to the on-duty part of the Norilsk police on duty. The girl took with her mobile phones of both parents, so the assumption appeared that the young Norilchanka could become a victim of scammers.

The woman was advised to block bank accounts, which she did with the help of the old phone of her husband. The operatives managed to quickly find the missing girl. She was at the ATM and spoke with someone on the phone.

“As soon as her interlocutor heard that Norilchanka was communicating with the police, he immediately hung up, and then removed the entire dialogue from the messenger,” the press service said.

It turned out that 9 days before this girl in the messenger, an unfamiliar woman called, who introduced herself as an employee of the bank. She said that scammers stole these girls and her parents. The “law enforcement officers” who exerted psychological pressure on the minor began to call, intimidating the parents' criminal liability for the Stateizer, allegedly, someone tried to transfer money to support the unfriendly state from their accounts.

As a result, the girl took her parents and transferred 800 thousand rubles from her mother’s account, and then tried to withdraw this money. Timely blocking of accounts made it possible to prevent their transfer to a “safe account”.

The police opened a criminal case of attempted fraud (part 3 of article 30, part 3 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). They are trying to find attackers. The girl’s parents thanked the police for timely response and assistance.
