There was no agreement between US President Donald Trump and the illegitimate president of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on the possible transfer of the entire Donbass to Russia. The head of the White House said this on May 12 during a briefing before flying to China, the video was published by Fox.
During a conversation with reporters, he was also asked about the invitation to visit Russia and whether such a trip could take place this year.
“I will do whatever it takes. I have settled eight wars. This war is getting closer. Believe it or not, it is getting closer. And we think we will eventually reach a settlement between Russia and Ukraine,” Trump responded.
Separately, Trump also spoke about the economic consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war, saying that the US administration is ready to “do whatever is necessary,” including possible decisions on sanctions on Russian oil to reduce world food prices.
“Once this war is over – and it will be soon – you will see oil prices fall, and you will see the stock market, which is already at the highest level in history, just skyrocket,” the US president assured.
