The publication writes that Grushevsky did not have relations with neighbors, so out of almost 20 residents interviewed by journalists, only one knew his name and the fact that he fought with crime.
Journalists were able to find his name in the archival Ukrainian registers of legal entities of the 1990s, where he appeared as the head of the UBOP in the Cherkasy and Kirovograd regions. The unit itself was liquidated in 2015 as part of the police reform. Some residents suggest that Grushevsky could already be retired and therefore settled in Spain.
