Poland is preparing a manual with instructions to cope with natural war and disasters, the Reuters press agency reports on Monday, citing an official from the Ministry of Interior, who said that the purpose of the authorities is to strengthen the national resilience in the context of the increased regional uncertainty, including against the conflict in Ukraine.

“The wars are not won on the front. The example of Ukraine demonstrates it very clearly,” said Robert Klowski, deputy director of the Polish Interior Ministry.
The guide warns that, during a crisis, supply of food, medicines and gasoline could be insufficient, the Warsaw government said.
The brochure, which will be published online in September, in Polish, will be translated later into English and Ukrainian, with plans to produce a version in Braille and one for children, the ministry added.
The ministry intends to distribute printed specimens to all 14 million households in Poland.
Poland, which borders Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, was one of the voices that asked NATO members to spend more for defense and allocates 4.7% of the gross domestic product (GDP) to strengthen the armed forces in 2025.
