Russia has launched a new drone and rocket dam on Ukraine in a Sunday night attack, killing at least one person and causing more fires in Kiev, city officials said.
The Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, said that rescuers and doctors are working on fire in four districts of the Ukrainian capital.
A subway station in the center of Kiev, shops, houses and a kindergarten were damaged, city officials said.
On another tense night and sleepless for Kiev's inhabitants, many rushed to shelter in the subway stations.
The explosions were heard throughout the city, while the air defense systems committed to reject the attack.
Oleh Synehubov, the governor of the Kharkov region, announced multiple explosions in Kharkov, the second largest city in the country, but did not provide immediate details about damage.
