A burn on the skin can be obtained from contact with plants. One of them is hogweed (the one that is confused with dill).
As Mash Dermatologist Pavel Vorozhekin told Mash, under the influence of ultraviolet, hogweed juice can cause acute skin inflammation. If the cream with SPF reduces the harmful effects of the sun on the skin, then the hogweed – enhances. As a result – inflammation and redness.
Immediately after contact, you will not see anything. But the next day you can observe all stages. In the areas of the body where the juice and the sun's rays have fallen, erythema and edema appear, in extreme cases – bubbles, itching, burning and tingling. When the inflammatory process ends, peeling and pigmentation appear at the place of burn.
