The government has changed their minds, cut less from the wage increase that employees work on EU funds, including heads of county councils and mayors.

The salary increase granted to the employees of the public sector working with European funds will be cut from a maximum of 50% to a maximum of 40% and will not be granted after the term of implementation of the projects is exceeded, the draft law with budgetary measures adopted by the Government.

Initially, the draft law published on Thursday provided for a more drastic reduction in the increase, to 35%, but the Government returned and modified the percentage to 40% in the meeting in which it adopted the project.
