Krasnoyarsk military was returned home from Ukrainian captivity (video)

250 Russian troops were liberated from Ukrainian captivity, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports. Among those who returned on July 23, the 27-year-old Krasnoyarsk was home, writes the State Duma deputy Yuri Shvytkin.

The exchange was made in accordance with the agreements reached by the parties on June 2 at negotiations in Istanbul.

These agreements included, among other things, the transfer of patients and seriously wounded on the principle of “all for all” and the exchange of prisoners under the age of 25 years. In total, 1.2 thousand soldiers returned home in this way. The day before it was possible to free 250 people from each side.

During the third round of negotiations in Istanbul, which took place on July 23, a proposal was made to start a new exchange process of at least 1.2 thousand people.

Now all freed are in Belarus. They are provided with psychological and medical care, and also gives the opportunity to contact relatives. Next, they will go to Russia, where they will undergo a full course of treatment and rehabilitation.
