A pensioner was wounded in the Krasnoyarsk boarding house with a knife due to a joke

In Krasnoyarsk, a 61-year-old man is suspected of intentionally causing serious harm to the health of the guesthood guest for elderly citizens and people with disabilities “Veteran”.

Everything happened on June 2, but law enforcement officers told the details only now. According to investigators, in the daytime between the two residents of the boarding house there was a conflict – one jokingly took a wheelchair from the other. The third man intervened in what was happening, he did not like such a joke and he decided to intercede after his neighbor – he grabbed the knife and inflicted a blow to the offender in the chest area.

Employees of the boarding house called an ambulance and law enforcement officers.

The victim was provided with medical care in a timely manner. He lay in the hospital for about 4 weeks, at the moment the man was discharged, nothing threatens his life, the pros and the prosecutor’s office said.

It was established that before that, the relationship between the participants in the incident was normal. However, the attacker and previously differed in aggressive behavior. After what happened against him, a criminal case was opened under paragraph 3 of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of serious harm to human health, committed using an object used as a weapon), the investigation continues.
