Minister of Education: “I see for education a zero moment. In the didactic norm, we increase the number of hours. Obviously the stock market decreases”

The Minister of Education, Daniel David, said in the press conference on which the chiefs of ministries were called to explain the package of fiscal measures announced by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, that people will not be available in education and research and no salaries will be modified.
“We will bring the money in the long and short term. In the future we have to bring people ”, said the Minister of Education.
Daniel David said that “In education and research we have no available people and we do not change salaries.”
“The country is in a crisis situation”
Daniel David also stated that Romania is in a crisis situation and emphasized that the premier measures will be taken in compliance with the principle of rationality and principle of decency:
“We will implement these measures because the country is in a crisis situation.”
The minister also said, in the same briefing, held at the government, that “At this time, I see a zero moment for education.”
