4 years ago, my daughter was admitted to an Erasmus project that has proven excellent experience for her. In a few months, my 12 -year -old boy is going to leave, with a scholarship offered by the same program. It is a privilege that few children have, because not all schools make the steps to be accepted in the program, writes a mother for the site everything about mothers.

When my daughter was 13 years old, her school was involved in a series of Erasmus projects, and the leader asked me if I want to enroll. The traffic had just opened after the pandemic and I had a lot of worries. But I did the courage and we started to make the file.

The project to which the scholarship was registered was one in the Stem – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics area (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), and involved a one -week visit to a gymnasium in the city of Măin. In order to participate in the competition for granting the scholarships, he had to meet some conditions: to have the average 10 in English and wearing, an average of 9 in mathematics and a recommendation from the leadership. Following the application of these criteria, a score was made and, depending on the available places, the children were accepted or not.

What are Erasmus scholarships?

The Erasmus+ program is a European project of education, training, youth and sports, carried out by the European Union, with a consistent budget and a clear vision: supporting the personal and professional development of European citizens through international learning. Although it has been known in the past especially for university mobility, today it has several beneficiaries: it is also addressed to high school and high school students, as well as teachers and even adults in vocational training.
